Kaiti Dangerkat is a force to be reckoned with. Referred to as a "walking piece of art" this woman of action carries a vibrant energy that influences people to dance, dream and be themselves with fierceness and fervor.
Combine seventeen years of dance education, a BFA in visual arts and a highly motivated spirit and you get Dangerkat. Her passion and openness has taken her around the world to study, create and teach others- all before her 25th birthday.
Kaiti has trained in Calgary, New York City, Los Angeles and across Europe with dance icons Shabba-Doo, Archie Burnett, Marjory Smarth, Brian Green, Tyrone Proctor, Ejoe Wilson, House of Ninja, Rock Steady Crew, Elite Force, Dance Fusion, Electric Boogaloos, Anna Krysiak and Michelle Moss to specialize in her own blend of house, voguing, waacking, hip hop, west african and contemporary. She also completed her post secondary education at the University of Calgary, Alberta College of Art & Design and Edith Cowan University in Australia practicing in print media, textile and performance art. Merging her skills as a dance and wearable artist was the spark that caused this firecracker to ignite!
Since then Kaiti has founded and directed the House of Dangerkat, an outlet which allows her to perform, choreograph, style, design, teach and collaborate with others. In doing so, she has captivated leaders in the fashion world, dance community and music scene without having to label herself as one thing. Several friends, peers, businesses and arts councils have supported and believed in Kaiti, regarding her as a young visionary and inspiration to many. She is currently living in New York City.
